"I came to Scotland with high expectations on the walk of the West Highland Way, but I could never imagine I would get such a great experience, magnificient views, nice accommodation and Guide Godess Inga made it one of my best memories to look back on in the gloomy winter months. Thank you so much!"

"Walking the West Highland Way with Inga and Snorri at Scot Walks was excellent and we highly recommend it. Luckily our walking companions were lively and entertaining bunch of people and it was great getting to know them. There were twenty in total in our walking group, 15 females and 5 males. We have already decided to come back next summer to complete the last part of the way.
The natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands is stunning and the tour organisation was very good. The weather was great the whole time. The walk was not difficult; you could say that we were mildly tired after each walking day. It was cosy making stopover in these pretty small villages along the way – enjoy the good food on offer and refreshing drinks which were always heaven-sent after a long walk.”

„We walked the West Highland Way with Inga and Snorri at Scot Walks this summer.
It was patience and heartiness which defined the group of twenty walkers on a 4 days walk in the Scottish Highlands.
Firm pace, not difficult but good distance covered each day. Tired but satisfied travellers made it to the destination at the end of each day and the Tour Guide took a good care of the group.
Everything worked out perfectly, good weather, beautiful trail, good tour guide and good walking companions. We highly recommend this holiday – it provided a great satisfaction for us. We have decided to come back at first opportunity to complete the West Highland Way walk and subsequently to walk the Great Glen Way.
You can indeed say that in the Scot Walks groups there are no strangers, only friends who haven’t met.“

"I really don’t know where to start... maybe it’s best to begin with a huge THANKS! Nothing went wrong! The organisation, accommodation, food, tour guide, the joy, landscape, weather... all this was superb and completed a long-awaited dream of walking in the Scottish Highlands. I hope to have the opportunity to return for another walking holiday.”

„We were 11 chicks who decided to go on a 7 days (luxury) tour with Scot Walks, walking from Milngavie to Fort William in July 2008. The tour was fantastic in all aspects. The organisation by Inga, the Tour guide was 100% - it’s a long while since I’ve been on a holiday where all my needs were attended to.
Inga was a very humorous companion; we laughed and giggled constantly the 7 days.
It was great to get into a hot shower and clean and comfy bed at the end of each day. The trail is magnificent and the natural beauty of the Scottish highlands is breathtaking. I would unhesitatingly like to repeat this tour!”

"The West Highland Way was a really pleasant and interesting walking route which though requires a level of stamina. First the green countryside where we collected and ate the black berries by the trail. Then the path by Loch Lomond with beautiful and diverse woodland, which sometimes felt like a scene from The Lord of the Rings. Then moorland and the mountainous area which I found the most captivating. I was pleasantly surprised by the Scottish people whom I found both humorous and hospitable.”

”The Walking Holiday with Scot Walks satisfied everything I look for in a vacation. It was physically challenging, pleasantly though. The surroundings were adventurous, beautiful and diverse. The overnight stops were different, each with its charm. This resulted in a splendid trip where tired but satisfied walkers completed the walk on schedule at the final destination. Not to forget the Tour Guide, Inga, with her humour and endless patience was a big factor in making a good trip even better.”

"Excellent Walking Holiday in all aspects. Unique natural beauty and the Scottish humour and hospitality was very notable. I wouldn’t have missed this for the world and will definitely return for another visit. I also like to compliment the Tour Guide – she was marvellous to say the least. “
